\"\"

These yogurt bread bites are crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. They are made without yeast, require no kneading, and don\’t need an oven.

Ingredients:

  • 250 g Greek yogurt (or any thick yogurt)
  • 50 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 12 g sugar
  • 150 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • A small pinch of salt
  • About 500 ml cooking oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Batter
Add Greek yogurt to a large mixing bowl.
Pour in the milk, add the egg and sugar.
    Whisk until smooth.
  2. Add Dry Ingredients
Sift the flour, baking powder, and baking soda into the bowl.
    Add a pinch of salt.

Mix until a smooth, slightly thick batter forms.

  1. Heat the Oil
Pour cooking oil into a pot and heat over medium heat.

To test the oil, dip a wooden chopstick into the oil.
If small bubbles form immediately, the oil is ready.

  1. Fry the Bread Bites
Heat a stainless steel spoon in the oil for a few seconds.

Scoop a spoonful of batter and carefully drop it into the oil.

Repeat with the remaining batter.

Do not overcrowd the pot because the dough will expand while frying.

Reduce the heat to medium-low.

Cook until the bread bites are puffed up and golden brown on all sides.

  1. Serve
Remove from the oil and serve warm.

Enjoy!
